Distinctive elements of our educational project

The quality and experience of the teaching staff at Globeducate is a fundamental element of the group’s success. Regardless of geographical location, all our teachers share the defining core principles central to the Globeducate Group’s educational philosophy.

Our teachers are central to the success of our schools’ plurilingual policy and to our focus on preparing our students for an international future.  On a daily basis our teaching staff reinforce the importance of linguistic immersion, knowledge and understanding of other cultures and involvement in international learning experiences and multicultural events.

Teachers at Agora Madrid International School instruct, guide and support students to help them to make the most of their strengths, work on any areas of weakness and focus on achieving their maximum academic and personal potential. Teaching staff work in close collaboration with the Educational Psychology Department to ensure that the individual needs of each student are appropriately met. Individual support programmes are developed for each student in conjunction with parents and families in order to create a structured and positive learning experience for every student at each stage of their educational journey.

In order to improve every school and ensure educational excellence, Globeducate Schools has implemented a quality framework we call The Globeducate Platinum Standard. The aim of the Platinum Standard is to help the Globeducate schools evaluate the quality of the teaching they offer. Its principles are backed by some of the best practices used in educational systems worldwide, and the mission and values of Globeducate Schools.

It is based on the use of quality indicators that help the Globeducate Schools community to:

• Measure the standards and quality of each school and of our group
• Recognise the key strengths of each school and of our group
• Identify the areas where it is necessary to maintain a high standard or where improvements are needed
• Identify the priorities and create a plan for improvement

To determine the quality of a Globeducate and identify those areas where improvements are needed, five core areas are evaluated in each school:

1. Effectiveness of Leadership and Management
2. Quality of Learning
3. The Globeducate Mission and Value Proposition

All this requires constant training for the teachers in order to improve the quality of their teaching and help them be more effective, along with high expectations for all the pupils, the use of questions to stimulate reflection, involvement and participation. There are also feedback 360º mechanisms to help with the communication between the teachers and students or among the students themselves.

All in all, Globeducate Platinum Standard is a tool that evaluates the educational level and quality of each school within the group to help them improve, finding optimum strategies for improvement in all areas.
