Distinctive elements of our educational project

The educational project of Agora Madrid International School is defined by 5 distinctive elements: the International Baccalaureate as a model for the future, multilingualism, STEAM, sports and the commitment to provide our students with the tools to grow as global citizens who can shape the world.

IB: A model for the future

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) provides students with a comprehensive and demanding curriculum accepted by the world's most prestigious universities. It is a model for the future which develops pupils' key skills for academic, professional and personal success, helping them to achieve their goals in an international context.
For all those pupils who wish to do so, at Agora Madrid International School, together with Víctor Ullate Roche and Nuria Sánchez, we have developed the only International Baccalaureate specialising in Performing Arts.

Multilingualism

We prepare our students for an international future. We offer a multilingual educational project, with linguistic immersion beyond English, which allows them to master their official language along with English, French, German or Chinese. To complete the linguistic programme, international events, exchanges and stays in different destinations are available.

STEAM: Science and Arts

Art and science through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) skills are key to children's all-round development: they bring enormous cognitive and personal benefits, as well as boosting their communication skills. At Agora Madrid International School they play a leading role in our educational project thanks to an integrated music centre and complete arts, dance and public speaking programmes.

Sport, Health & Fitness

We promote the values implicit in participating in sporting activity, such as self-discipline, determination, a sense of fair-play and team spirit. At Agora Madrid International School we instil in our pupils a passion for sport and healthy lifestyle habits so that they become physically and emotionally balanced adults.

Shaping the world

Children entering education today will graduate as young adults in 2030. Our mission is to prepare them for jobs that have not yet been created, for technologies that have not yet been invented, and to solve problems that have not yet been anticipated. We must encourage our young people to embrace and shape their own futures and to understand that they form part of a wider international community and are capable of changing the world.
